I know what you mean about the kids not understanding that they need to wait for their gifts. It's all the same to them in the end. I once gave my son a back pack, and the thing became part of his body for days and days.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11419676.post-1134173957179848432005-12-09T18:19:00.000-06:002005-12-09T18:19:00.000-06:00Dental work is the worst. Pain in your head like that just does weird things to you, I think.

I hope that your tooth feels better and that you get to enjoy the snow!Abigailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14927734538960396940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11419676.post-1134143037812594902005-12-09T09:43:00.000-06:002005-12-09T09:43:00.000-06:00I bet the windchill factor is even lower than 8 de...I bet the windchill factor is even lower than 8 degrees. You have a treasure in your wife for many reasons, but lets chalk another one up for her finding the dentist. I read about the egg too, that is so wonderful.

I went to check on our girls this morning and they haven't left the coop. I'll post some pics of our coop on my site so you can see, but we have a little 12x12" opening on one side so they can come and go when they want. They didn't want to go into the snow. We have possums but as of yet, they haven't bothered the chickens, I guess that is one nice thing about still being in the city, we don't have to worry about predators for our chickens.

The waterbase warmer is so neat and is working like a charm. Last year we had to go outside twice a day to get them water because their water would freeze. This year, I just have to fill the can everyday, but the warmer keeps the water fluid.
