Makes me want to cry from frustration as I hear people in my red state bashing Clinton and Obama and other dems for the mess we are in now. I hear *nothing* about the current admin. And if I hear another damn Reagan quote, I may scream!

Love the pictures!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10788740577135090145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11419676.post-55986483897473824382008-09-29T10:22:00.000-05:002008-09-29T10:22:00.000-05:00Only if people succumb to the policy of fear and i...Only if people succumb to the policy of fear and ignorance which the conservative agenda pushes will McCain be nominated.
Great swing pictures! I was wishing that for the same reasons you wish and now I feel sad and hopeless and more than that, horribly disappointed.Heather Jefferieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05590391262194548880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11419676.post-39627316492441020952008-09-28T16:40:00.000-05:002008-09-28T16:40:00.000-05:00I love the pictures of your family and your farm. ...I love the pictures of your family and your farm. It all looks like so much fun ... although I know you certainly have your trials :).

will it take a complete economic collapse before we change our wasteful ways? Yeah, I think it will. Today, gasoline here is $3.49. That's down almost 60 cents from a couple of months ago, and the result is that very few people have changed how they do things, they are starting to question the reality of Peak Oil, or because the price is coming down, people are starting to think things are getting better ... or rather, they HAVE gotten better. I mean, $3.49 for gasoline is better than $4.09, right? And so they're all deluded into believing that THIS is an improvement, and rather than thinking, "Okay, it's 60 cents cheaper today, maybe I should start looking for ways to reduce the amount I need while I can still afford it." Instead, they're out buying SUVs again, because the price of gasoline is down 60 cents from where it was at the beginning of the summer.
