subtle changes in garden layout

the sweet potatoes are really going outside the garden. we will put them in a raised bed--location to be determined. probably just to the left of where the final map suggests. i have to cut down a dying mulberry tree that lives there.

  1. Love the layout - - I have looked high and low for a basic layout for a 30 x 60 plot and could never find one. This will be a great starting point for my 22 x 40 (basic veggies) plus 30 x 90 (pumpkins & squash) plots. Thanks much!

I'm a lurker and haven't posted here before, but seeing your garden plans I had to comment! (I'm like what you mentioned a few posts ago - I read a lot but don't post often - I still wonder if that's good or bad?)

Wow - what a great plan! And you're going to plant 99 tomato plants. I'm terribly impressed.

  6. That looks wonderful and is really getting me psyched for spring. :) Although it feels like spring right now in the Northeast.

Karl ~ would you ask Tabitha if she would mind sharing/posting her homemade dog food recipe? I am all for avoiding the grocery store and I know her recipe has got to be healthier than store-bought dog food.

    :)

  7. thanks for the complements. the design was done from scratch in adobe illustrator. it's not the most intuitive program for such an easy task. i made the little icons by drawing them with a mouse. i used illustrator cause i know it really well. i used to use it when i was a graphic designer (one of my former incarnations)

tabitha alleges that she'll post the dog food recipe very soon.
